Store-shelf sprays buy you a few quiet days; Nex Pest Control's Pest Control technicians treat the source so the problem doesn't just come back after the can runs out.
We didn't start out trying to be the biggest name in East Ithaca pest control — we started by answering calls nobody else wanted to take on a Sunday night, and that's still who we are.
Every technician we send out is licensed under state pest control regulations and covered by our company's insurance, so you're never gambling on who's walking through your door.
Nex Pest Control runs on one rule: quote it straight, treat the actual cause, and back it in writing. That's not a slogan — it's the reason East Ithaca repeat customers call us back for the next issue instead of shopping around.
We also track what's happening across East Ithaca season to season — which blocks see termite swarms first, which see rodent calls spike once the weather turns — so a technician arrives with a working hypothesis, not a blank slate.
Here's what tends to show up right before a East Ithaca homeowner finally picks up the phone.
One of these alone might be nothing. Two or three together, in the same week, usually means it's time to call rather than wait it out. A quick phone call and a same-day inspection usually costs less time and money than months of chasing symptoms with store-bought products.
Six service lines, one East Ithaca crew — here's what we're dispatched for most.
When the situation can't wait — an active hive, a sudden swarm, a rodent loose near food prep — Nex Pest Control's after-hours crew treats it with the same license and insurance as any scheduled visit, just faster. Our dispatcher asks a couple of quick questions to gauge urgency, then routes genuinely urgent East Ithaca cases ahead of standard scheduling.
Standard residential service covers the everyday East Ithaca invaders — ants, roaches, spiders, silverfish — with an initial treatment and a recurring schedule that keeps pressure from building back up between visits. Plans can be adjusted mid-season if a East Ithaca property starts attracting something new — the schedule isn't locked once it's set.
East Ithaca restaurants, retail stores, and office buildings get a documented, scheduled program with service logs ready for any health inspection, run around your actual operating hours. Technicians can service before or after business hours so treatment never disrupts customers or staff.
We check the soil line, crawl space, and framing for mud tubes and wood-to-soil contact, then recommend either a liquid barrier or bait station system based on what's actually found. Bait stations installed on the property get checked on a monitoring schedule, so new activity is caught early instead of at next year's visit.
We handle mice, rats, and the occasional squirrel or raccoon with humane methods and permanent exclusion work, not a one-and-done trap drop. We'll also flag chewed wiring or insulation damage found during the inspection so you know what to address afterward.
Monthly barrier treatment through East Ithaca's peak season targets both standing-water breeding sources and the shaded resting spots where adult mosquitoes actually hide during the day. One-time treatments ahead of an outdoor event can usually be scheduled within a day or two.
A short call to +1-844-564-2570 is usually all it takes to get a technician on the calendar. Tell dispatch what you've noticed and where — it helps us send a technician already prepared for the likely cause.
We confirm the species and the source before recommending anything — no guesswork treatment. Inspection covers both interior hot spots and the exterior perimeter, not just the room where you noticed activity.
The price we quote on site is the price on the invoice, full stop. Nothing gets billed that you haven't already agreed to in writing.
Treatment happens the same visit where possible, with a follow-up scheduled automatically if the case calls for one. Follow-up visits are already on the calendar before the technician leaves, not something you have to call back to arrange.
You approve one number before we start — no hourly clock running while a technician works. If something changes mid-visit, we stop and re-quote before continuing, rather than adjusting the bill after the fact.
Local dispatch means less drive time and more slots available for East Ithaca same-day calls. Dispatch can usually give you a two-hour arrival window rather than an all-day wait.
Every East Ithaca technician carries state licensing and our company's liability coverage — ask to see it at the door. Licensing status is current and checked, not just a claim on a website.
Our guarantee terms are spelled out in your service agreement, not left to a phone-call negotiation later. We'd rather absorb the cost of a re-treat than lose a East Ithaca customer's trust over a technicality.
Nights, weekends, holidays — the East Ithaca emergency line is staffed and answered, not routed to voicemail. Emergency pricing is quoted just as clearly as a daytime visit — urgency never means a hidden markup.
Our technicians have inspected enough East Ithaca attics and crawl spaces to know what's typical for your street before they even arrive. It's the difference between a generic national script and a plan built around what actually happens in East Ithaca.
Our guarantee is simple: pay for a result, not just a visit. If activity continues at your East Ithaca property after treatment, follow-up service is included, not billed separately.
This isn't a lifetime promise on every pest forever, but within the stated window it's unconditional — no forms to fill out, no argument about whether it counts. We'd rather absorb the cost of an extra visit than lose a East Ithaca customer's trust over a technicality in the fine print.
